Students in the Honors College will be able to relate knowledge of a subject to others, to think independently, and to write and speak clearly.
Honors classes are generally smaller than usual classes and provide opportunities for in- depth class discussion and innovative teaching.
Participation in the Honors College gives students the opportunities to publish original work and attend special lectures and cultural events.
Students who successfully complete the Honors College graduate with a special designation on their diplomas and transcripts. This looks great on a resume and will be helpful when students enter the job market.
