Gladys A. DeJesus received her B. A. degree in Economics from National University in the Dominican Republic. She received her M. A. degree and her Ph.D. degree in Economics from The Ohio State University. Gladys A. DeJesus came to work at Chowan in 1993.

Patsy W. Taylor received her B.S. degree in Clothing and Textiles Merchandising with a concentration in Business, her Masters of Arts in Education Degree in Business and Marketing Education, and her Certificate of Advanced Study in Marketing Education from East Carolina University. Patsy W. Taylor came to work at Chowan in 1991.

Shannon Williams earned her Bachelors of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Accounting and her Masters of Business Administration Degree from Campbell University. Shannon Williams came to work with Chowan University in 2007.

Thomas I. Eisenmenger Thomas I. Eisenmenger
Instructor in Information Systems

“I have been called to challenge students to set their own goals high, to “think big”, and ultimately to achieve great things with their lives. For me, Chowan University has been an excellent place to pursue this calling. Sometimes my students ask, “Is this an Information Systems or Philosophy class?”, because I always strive to expand their intellectual vision and I don’t mind stepping out of the usual bounds of an IS class to do it. After all, building a strong worldview is critical for your future success.”

Education:
Thomas I. Eisenmenger received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from UNC-Chapel Hill. He received his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from UNC-Greensboro. He also did additional graduate study work towards a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science from East Carolina University. Thomas I. Eisenmenger came to work at Chowan in 2000.

Andrea Eason received her Associates Degree from Independence Community College. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. She earned her Masters of Education in Business Education and her Educational Doctorate in Vocational-Technology Education from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. She did additional graduate study with Memphis State University, University of South Alabama, Old Dominion University, Widener University, University of Tennessee, Central State University, and East Carolina University. Andre Eason came to work at Chowan University in 1969.
