Take your future to new heights at SOAR!
Start your first life-changing year at Chowan University at SOAR! You will meet 1-on-1 with an academic advisor, register for fall classes, learn more about how to succeed, and receive tips on how to pay for college during this fun and informative one day event.
Students who have paid the $100 advance tuition deposit are eligible to attend. Click here to pay your deposit on-line.
SOAR is FREE for incoming students (including lunch). Guests of prospective students, including parents, will need to pay $5.00 each for lunch.

Take a break & have lunch! Thomas Dining Hall Students will eat lunch with their breakout groups. Parents and guests will eat lunch with parent breakout groups at about 12:30 p.m. Upon arrival, guests may purchase lunch tickets for $5.00 each. |

Get to Know CU Bingo! Chowan University Campus and the Hawk's Nest Finish important paperwork, learn about the campus, meet other new students, and get a free T-shirt! Simply complete the game instructions on your BINGO game sheet located in your packet. When you have completed your BINGO sheet, go to the Hawk's Next and receive your free T-shirt! |

Get Housing Info, Check Out the Bookstore, & Grab a Snow Cone! The bookstore is located in the back of the McDowell Columns Building. Housing information is located on the first floor of Penny Hall (adjacent to the Columns Building). World famous snow cones are available in the Hawks Nest. |

Learn More about Historic Murfreesboro on a Guided Trolley Tour
Board the trolley in front steps of the Kerr Gazebo (near the front steps of the Columns Building). Tours leave every 45 minutes. |
| 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. |
Campus Tour and Information about Residence Halls
Tours will leave from the steps of the Columns Building every half-hour. You and your families must have an admissions representative with you in order to visit the residence halls. |
