Admissions: Leadership Scholars Day

Options for Visiting Chowan University:
I would like to visit Chowan during the week on a personal visit.
I would like to visit on CU Visit Day.
I would like to attend Student Orientation Advising and Registration (SOAR).
I would like to attend Leadership Scholars Day.

CU is offering a special way for NEW STUDENTS to get more financial assistance to help you pay for your college tuition.

If you are a student with a 2.7 grade point average or better and you are involved in a leadership role in clubs, groups, or sports, you could be eligible for the Chowan University Leadership Scholars. Anyone whose application is accepted into Chowan University and meets these qualifications will have a chance. Apply now!

11:00 a.m.	Learn more about Chowan and the Leadership Scholars Program Turner Auditorium in the McDowell Columns Building Performance: The Chowan University Gospel Choir, Instruments of Praise Speaker: Reverend Craig Janney, Assistant Dean of Strategic Communication & Athletic Chaplain Speaker: Dr. Danny Moore, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Speaker: Randy Harrell, Vice President of Student Affairs Introduction of the Chowan University Leadership Scholars

12:00 p.m.	Leadership Scholars Luncheon Thomas Dining Hall Performance: Chowan University Gospel Choir, Instruments of Praise Speaker: Dr. M. 1:15 p.m.	Interviews begin for the Leadership Scholarship Your folder and name tag contains information about your interview time and location.

1:15 - 3:15 p.m.	Break-out Sessions Participate in the following break-out sessions while you wait for your interview. Sessions will begin every 15 minutes beginning at 1:15 p.m. The last session will end at 3:3p.m. SAT Test Taking Tips and Strategies Mulberry Grove Room, Ground Floor of Thomas Dining Hall Speaker: R. 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.	See Chowan University! Campus Tours Tours leave from front steps of the McDowell Columns Building at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM
