Four CU Baseball Players Enjoy Success in Collegiate Summer Leagues
MURFREESBORO - CU Baseball players Ryan Moore, William Ward, Brandon Mack and Evan Seymour are spending their summer improving their skills in competitive, prestigious summer leagues. Below is an update on their progress.
All-CIAA shortstop Brandon Mack, of the Luray Wranglers, has compiled a .200 batting average in 35 at bats. He has started in thirteen games this summer. The Wranglers are in the Valley League. Follow Mack's success this summer by visiting: http://www.valleyleaguebaseball.com/teams/luray/index.
Ryan Moore and William Ward are representing themselves well on the Petersburg Generals, as part of the Coastal Plains League. Ward is batting .231 with 65 at bats slugging percentage, and is tied for second in the league in walks and triples. Fellow teammate, Moore has enjoyed a win on the mound, and is hitting .174. Evan Seymour is playing for the Lexington Chops this summer through the Carolina Virginia Collegiate League. Individual statistics were not available at the time of this release.
