Six Hawks Named to USA College Football NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team

ROSELAND, NJ- USA College Sports, Inc. and the National Christian College Athletic Association announced the USA College Football NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team today.

USA College Football NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team members are chosen by a group of coaches, sports information directors, certified players' agents, professional scouts, national media reporters, and the staff of USA Football News. Six Chowan Hawks have been selected to the team; they include Jobari Coleman-Wilson, Adrian Ferns, David Fulton, Robert Holland, Ethan Reedy, and Cameron Stover.

Jobari Coleman-Wilson enters his senior season for the Hawks, and hails from Los Angeles, California. Adrian Ferns, also from Los Angeles, California, scored two touchdowns for the Hawks last season, and tallied fifteen total tackles.

David Fulton, a rising senior from Raleigh, North Carolina, joins his teammates on the NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team after snagging two interceptions and scoring a touchdown during the 2011 season. Robert Holland tallied thirteen touchdowns during his junior campaign, is a three time All-CIAA selection, as well as a 2011 All-NCCAA Football Team member.

Defensive lineman, Ethan Reedy collected eighteen total tackles for the blue and white last season, and is one of two Hawks that have been selected to the pre-season team on the defensive side of the ball. Sophomore quarterback Cameron Stover rounds out the NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team after throwing for 1881 yards last season, averaging just over 235 passing yards per game.

Seniors that are listed as All-Americans and will exhaust their eligibility after this season are eligible to compete in the USA Football Holiday Bowl which takes place December 14-17th in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Hawks kick-off the 2012 season in Salisbury, North Carolina on September 1st at 6:00 PM when they take on the Livingstone College Blue Bears.
