Haiti Mission Experience - 2011
A group of 10 students, staff, and alumni traveled to Haiti to help families rebuild their homes, provide free mobile medical clinics, and share the love of God to the orphaned Haitian children in the name of Jesus. Throughout the journey, they blogged and shared pictures of their experiences. As you read and visualize this mission you are invited to travel alongside our student-missionaries.

Moving my life to serve at Chowan University has been a grand adventure. I have lived in a lot of places but this is my first small town experience. I am enjoying exploring Northeastern NC.
"I believe it is important to have places and spaces of Grace on a University campus. It is my prayer that the pastoral leadership of the Campus Ministry team can offer safe places for individuals to know God, serve God and share God. We have Faith in our Future because we know God holds our future."

“I look forward to working with the wonderful students and staff at Chowan University! This is my first experience at a small, Christian school, and I am excited for all the opportunity it affords, such as a strong sense of community and a people ready and willing to serve! I am grateful for this time to journey with the Chowan family, as we seek to hear God’s calling in our lives, and find the courage to follow.”
