Chowan Christian Service Association

The Chowan Christian Service Association (CCSA) provides opportunities for students to learn and serve in Jesus’ name through tuition scholarship and missions endowments. Its members form a community of individuals and churches who are partnering in the education and the preparation of future ministers.

membership

Membership in the CCSA is open to dedicated Christians who are interested in and committed to helping students fulfill their call to ministry. Individuals are welcomed into the membership family of the CCSA when they express their commitment to the education and preparation of future ministers through an annual gift of $100 or more. Churches are also welcomed at the $250 level or more to become an annual member.

Members are invited to attend two dinner meetings each year. Students, faculty, and CCSA members participate in the evening program. These are special times for forming new relationships and inviting others to become a part of the CCSA family.  Become a member!

CCSA Scholarship Fund

Chowan Christian Service Association (CCSA) Scholarships are given to deserving students preparing for Christian vocational service. Thanks to endowed scholarships and gifts, the CCSA has provided scholarship funding for students preparing for ministry since its inception in 2004. After graduation, many students have furthered their ministry education by enrolling in seminary or beginning work in a Christian vocation.

CCSA Missions Endowment

After success in aiding CCSA students through scholarship funding, the CCSA recognized an opportunity to assist Chowan Campus Ministry through creating the Chowan Christian Service Association Missions Endowment.

Chowan Campus Ministry has a robust program of stateside and overseas mission opportunities for students. In the last academic year, over 200 students gained valuable mission experiences through Campus Ministry. Providing such opportunities allows students to learn how to serve God, serve others, and deepen their Christian commitment. Every gift to the Missions Endowment frees our Campus Ministers from time-consuming fundraising efforts and allows them to focus on enriching the spiritual lives of our students instead.
