  • 101 Ways to Support Missions without Leaving your Church:  Learn and share ways you can craft, make, and collect to help others.  Mari E. Wiles, Minister to the University and Drew Phillips, Associate Minister to the University
  • Bending the Spoon—Myth Busting and Aging in America: Lively discussion regarding how baby boomers are changing preconceived notions about aging and impacting aging services in 21st century America. Plus, information regarding services available locally, regionally, and nationally to help boomers and their families. Heather Howle, Hertford County Director of Aging Services

  • The Poetry of Rural North Carolina:  James Larkin Pearson, North Carolina's oldest and longest-serving poet laureate (1953-1981), was an advocate of descriptive rural poetry, and produced some of the state's most famous poems from his humble surroundings.
