Annually faculty and staff are encouraged to give to the Annual Fund in support of the Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign chaired by a member of the faculty and a member of the staff, who serve for the cycle of the Annual Fund Campaign.
You understand that many of our students come from backgrounds in which college is not a given, but a dream for a better life. That dream requires help from each of us.
Because of you, Chowan continues to move forward. We believe there is no better time to continue building a better Chowan community.
Regardless if you make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift through payroll deduction, you are making a significant impact in supporting our students and many campus programs.
Chowan’s fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31.
Giving Through Payroll Deduction
You can divide your gift into monthly contributions to minimize the impact on your wallet while maximizing your impact on our campus.
How Faculty and Staff see Chowan Moving Forward through the Annual Fund
“Even though so much has changed during the time I have been blessed to be a part of the Chowan community, so much remains the same. We continue to serve “students of promise”, most of whom are “first generation” and most of whom come to us with significant needs. Each year I have the opportunity to work with others at Chowan to assure that we are looking at each student on an individual basis. The Annual Fund makes money available to allow us to assist deserving students that otherwise may not be able to attain their dream of a Chowan education.”
-Randy Harrell, Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
“I ask for your financial support to continue our mission to change lives. Student success. Campus expansion. Faculty excellence. These are happening at Chowan University, and we need your financial support to continue this trajectory. While large gifts are important, the medium and small gifts combine to provide important support to all facets of the university.
Remember that your gift serves as an endorsement of our institution. Foundations, alumni, and all other supporters notice the support of faculty and staff. This support speaks volumes and attracts additional support from outside the university.”
-John Dilustro, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs
