Advice from Crystal: Realize the Possibilities. Too many people go through life with regrets about the decisions they have made. They have come to realize their full potential, but were never able to follow all of their dreams. Making the decision to become a college student is a vital step toward securing the future that you see for yourself. It is so important to realize the possibilities and choices possible for you. Determine your future by doing what YOU love!
Favorite spot on campus: My favorite spot on campus are the sidewalks beside "The Gazebo," which has each Chowan graduate's name carved in brick. It reminds me of walking through a hall of fame. It symbolizes the successful accomplishment of completing a degree at Chowan University and gives each of those students something to go back and reflect on.
Favorite college memory: There are so many college memories, but my favorite would have to be attending the Homecoming Festivities each year. Tailgating and football games were definitely a big deal for me, not to mention getting to see all of the older alumni who showed up in their school spirit and shared memories of how life was like when they were in college.
Favorite Chowan memory (so far!): My favorite Chowan memory would be attending my very first basketball game. To see so many people from the community and all of the Chowan spirit made me feel right at home.
