During my time as a student at Chowan University, I was given numerous opportunities that completely changed my perspective on life. I am very excited for the opportunity to share my unique story and help give prospective students an opportunity to experience Chowan in their own way and so they can write their own success story. I am thankful for this opportunity to serve our students and our beloved university.
Advice from LeAnne: Make smart decisions and enjoy the remainder of your senior year. I hope you are excited for your new journey at Chowan. Be prepared to get involved on campus and make some of the best memories of your life.
Favorite spot on campus: I thoroughly enjoyed the times I spent in the Hawks Nest Student Center. My involvement in SGA and Campus Ministry helped form lifelong friendships and memories.
Favorite college memory: It is very difficult for me to choose just one memory. Instead, I will go with a collective group of memories obtained via my participation on several of the Campus Ministry sponsored mission trips.
Favorite Chowan Memory: I was initially skeptical of Chowan and the small environment, but to this day, choosing Chowan is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Taking a non-traditional path to Chowan, becoming involved academically, socially, and spiritually, and ultimately receiving my diploma during commencement are memories that will forever be engraved in my heart.
